Spring Conference 2025

Hotel Information:
A block of rooms has been reserved at Tru by Hilton at Cadillac Jacks.

• Hotel Booking: Each school is responsible for calling (605) 571-1001 and booking their own room within the SDSTE block. Attendees can book rooms for Friday, Saturday, or both days, depending on their needs.

• Check-In Details: Guests will check in as usual by providing their name, driver’s license, and a credit card for incidentals.

  • Costs Covered: Room, tax, and parking are covered under the block.

  • Incidental Hold: A small hold of $25–$40 will be placed on the card and will drop off within 7–10 business days after checkout. Using a credit card is recommended to avoid delays with debit card holds.

• Be sure to book early to secure your room!

Tentative Schedule:
April 26

• 12:30 PM: Transportation departs from Deadwood to Lead.

• 1:00–4:00 PM: Activities at S.U.R.F. in Lead (Sanford Underground Research Facility):

  • Tours, sessions, and more.

• 4:00–6:00 PM: Social event at the Homestake Visitor Center (Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, Lead):

  • Vendors will be present.

• 6:00 PM: Transportation returns to Deadwood.

• 6:30 PM: Evening entertainment at the Elks Lodge.

April 27

• 11:00 AM–12:30 PM: Luncheon provided by ClassLink (Location TBD).

• 1:00–4:00 PM: Peer-coordinated sessions (TBD) at Lead-Deadwood High School in Lead.

Registration Details:

• Registration closes on Monday, March 31. Modifications to your registration can also be made until that date.

• If you are bringing a colleague from your school, please ensure they register as well.
